Tuckers Onion Burgers

Image
During a recent trip through Oklahoma City, I wanted to make sure and try the Oklahoma Onion Burger. I did my research and decided that Tucker's Onion Burgers was going to be my choice. I made the right choice because this burger was amazing. I ordered a single onion burger with cheese, a side of fries, and the shake of the month. It is understandable why the onion burger is such a hit. The flavors of the onion and beef complement each other, and the fact that they are truly cooked together is amazing. It is so much better than just having grilled onions on top of your cooked burger patty. The burger is big and fills the bun fully, and the cheese adds to each delicious bite. The fries were also very good and cooked crispy. The shake of the month was a peanut butter chocolate, and unfortunately our least favorite part of the meal. The staff were helpful while ordering and the burgers were freshly prepared after we made our order. The staff brought our burgers to the table

The patty itself is nearly an inch thick, and we are not talking just about any old burger; this is some awesome meat. I would love to know what kind of meat they are using.  It is expertly seasoned, and there are many wonderful options on how they finish it.   The featured burger for burger week was the "Big Daddy."  It was definitely big. Those first few bites were a real challenge to get your mouth around.  This burger is served on a brioche bun that was fresh and soft.  It then had spicy mustard, pickles, the gigantic burger patty, swiss cheese, bacon,

Visiting Georgetown Colorado

Image
Georgetown is an old gold mining town located less than an hour from downtown Denver.  Growing up in Colorado, Georgetown was just one of the small towns you drove by while going somewhere else.  Now Georgetown is a great place to visit and use as a base camp for more exploring in the area.  The town of Georgetown has changed over the years in a very positive way but has maintained a lot of its old mountain charm. Georgetown is known for the Victorian houses built here back in the 1800s, and many of them are still standing and well maintained.  Many of the yards are full of flowers during the summer, making for a beautiful town to explore.
