Sedona Arizona - A Great Place to Find Your Happiness

Image
Sedona is a place where you can step into another world that allows you to self-center and remember everything you enjoy most. Whether it is time to sit in nature and renew your energy, enjoy great food and drinks with friends, or get your adventure on and explore the miles of trails and canyons, Sedona will have what you are looking for. Sedona is about 60 minutes south of Flagstaff, Arizona, and about 2 hours north of Phoenix.  You can take multiple routes to get to Sedona, each of them being designated as a scenic byway. Where we Stayed: We stayed in a very nice townhome that we found on Airbnb, located within walking distance of the downtown Sedona area.  It was ideal to leave the car parked and easily walk down to the Sedona Beer company or hit many restaurants and shopping.  The accommodations were very comfortable, and working with the management company was easy.  The unit was immaculate and well maintained, so we felt good about our stay.  The kitchen was also well stocked wi

Seven Hills - Amazing Italian on the streets of San Francisco

Image
We were traveling in the Napa Valley and San Francisco area for a week, and Seven Hills is the best restaurant of our entire trip, and we have enjoyed some pretty amazing places to eat. If you are a local and have not been to Seven Hills, you have to go because you will fall in love with it and have a new favorite spot yourself. The next time I come to San Francisco, I will make my reservation weeks ahead to make sure I can get a table. The restaurant is located on the corner of Hyde and Green. Hyde is on the Cable Car line, so imagine being able to ride the cable car directly to this amazing Italian restaurant from Ghirardelli square; this would make the ultimate romantic experience. The cable cars were not running, so Uber dropped us off at the front door. When we arrived for an 8:00 reservation Alex, the owner, greeted us at the door. We were a few minutes early, so he set us up with a wine list and encouraged us to look it over. We asked a question about an Italian wine tha

Tikka Taco - Irving, Texas

825 W Royal Lane #120 Irving, TX 75039 972-707-7277 Website Service: ✮✮✮✮✮ Food: ✮✮✮✮✮ Cleanliness: ✮ ✮✮ ✮ ✮ Just went to Tikka Taco for the first time and really enjoyed the amazing flavors of the food. I ordered the Lamb Kheema bowl with the Tikka Taka Tak sauce.  The bowl was layered with rice, a minced lamb cooked with garlic, ginger and Indian spices, and topped with shredded lettuce and onions. It had just the right amount of heat to it to awaken my taste buds while still allowing the flavors of the minced lamb with garlic and Indian spices to come out.  The serving size was right on the mark as well.   The Biryani rice is really worth trying if you have not tried it before.  The rice is flavored with spices and it really accompanies the dish well.  White or brown rice is available if you prefer.   The service here was great.  While you order at the counter when you walk in, they brought our meal to us and the wait time was minimal.  I visited with the owner briefly and learned a

7129 Bethesda Ln Bethesda MD 20814 301-718-1005 Website Service: ✮✮✮ Food: ✮✮✮✮✮ Cleanliness: ✮ ✮✮ ✮ Luke's Lobster is a seafood restaurant located in downtown Bethesda Maryland that focuses on doing high-quality seafood right.  Part of a larger sustainable seafood provider from Maine the restaurants provide you the feeling of stepping into a lobster shack along the Maine coast where you can get the freshest seafood possible.   Luke's Seafood rolls are classic.  A classic top split but that has been buttered and grilled, then filled with the fresh seafood salad of your choice, and topped with just a sprinkle of celery salt.   Lukes also offers a selection of local craft beer as well as some of the more common domestic beers. The inside of Luke's is tight and is very true to a couple of lobster shacks that I have visited on the coast of Maine in my travels.  There is limited seating, with about half of the seating being bar style and half being tables. You place your order a
